The 453 Varmint is based on the same time-proven platform as our 452 models, featuring a 21" heavy barrel without sights and an 11mm dovetail groove for scope mount attachment. The 453 models feature a fully adjustable single-set trigger system mechanically identical to the CZ 527 and 550 centerfire rifles. The .17 HMR models feature a 3/8" dovetail. The rifles are shipped with a 5 round magazine.

Added by CZ ChuckI shoot 20 targets a week and the average grouping is .32mm the minimum is .03mm and maximum is .65mm at 25 meters, 3 shot groups on A-36 targets using Eley Target Rifle 22LR. Thank you CZ for making such a good little rifle. Now I will buy a CZ 455 heavyest barrel in 22LR.

Added by cz 453 varmint 17 hmrI have a 453 Varmint 17 HMR that i recently glass bedded. Here is a picture of my 10 shot group at 100 yards. It equals .5". I had three flyers that I must have pulled. It's one of my most accurate rifles and its cheap to shoot!
